I told you I would have some exciting news in the days ahead but this is one announcement that transcends anything you normally see on my blog, or that I have ever experienced. I am now a grandmother! And, of course, I am completely lovestruck by the most beautiful little darling I have ever seen, baby Hazel. Her dad is a cancer survivor, so this isn’t just another birth, but a great big poke in cancer’s ugly eye. Yay, God!
In honor of the occasion, I’m sharing a digital paper set I created to celebrate Hazel’s arrival. I used Ian Barnard’s Pattern Press and a few graphic elements from The Mammoth Watercolor Kit by Nicky Laatz to help make them. Click here to download the set and share in my joyful celebration!

Congrats, Kay!! I finally have a grandson (7 mos old). My daughter keeps an ipad album with new pictures for friends and family to see. I made “sticker” ties with numbers of months on them, and they take a picture of the baby in a onsie in the same chair with the same stuffed bear every month. You could make bow stickers! It’s amazing to watch them grow.

Congratulations, Kay, from one grandmother (Nonni, is my name) to another. Mine are across the country, but wonderful ipad and iphone photos keep me in the loop when I can’t see them. Thank you for sharing your designs. You give so much to all of us.
Enjoy that beautiful little girl!
