The big name stamping catalogs have all these great rubber and/or acrylic stamps to match punches and vice versa, but what about all those other punches and nesting dies we already have? Surely some artistic folks have put together digistamps to go with those. I mean, with these old school tools you avoid all the print and cut issues inherent with the newer technologies. Just line ’em up and punch ’em out. It could hardly be easier. So digital images and templates to match popular punches must be plentiful, right? Umm, no. In fact, I couldn’t find any. Instead I found all kinds of complicated instructions about how to measure and make your own MSWord etc. docs for sentiments. This seems woefully inefficient to my engineer brain, so today I am doing something about it and sharing the files I use with one of my favorite punches, the “Real Estate Sign” from EK Tools. If you own this punch, please download and enjoy this file and let me see what you do with it. If you have punch-coordinating files of your own, I hope you’ll post them and let me know so I can link you up here. And if you are a punch or die manufacturer, you can thank me later.
Update: I did find one other PDF printable to match this punch here.
My tutorial on how to make these is here.

If only corporate America would get this logical! I bet we could save them (and us) millions! Thanks for your efforts. I don’t have the punch but won’t use so many that I can’t cut them by hand.

Thanks so much for sharing these awesome images! Now I must get that punch!!!
I have learned a lot from your blog and appreciate the tutorials on using Inkscape. You are a great teacher!
I like to use things I have, as you have used the punch in a new way. I have the old red Sizzix with the lever and am looking for information on using the new dies that accompany stamps. I know there would be size limitations, but does this machine cut the new type of dies with extra plates or mats added? Just wondering if any of your readers would know.
Thanks so much!
Kay says
Thank you, Christine. I have a set of the matching stamp and die sets by Hero Arts and the dies are the very thin style (a la Spellbinders). Imagine that you could cut those with the red Sizzix machine with the right “sandwich” but I don’t know what it would be. Do hope my readers will have some input for you.

I have never used digi stamps. Can I use this pdf to change the color to match my paper? I don’t see how.
Do you have a tutorial on using digi stamps?
Kay says
Hi Mary,
These are a little different from normal digital stamps in that they have to be an exact size to match the punch. That is why I am using PDF so that I know the size will be right for everyone. To use them you just print and punch.
If you want to change the color you would have to use PSE or similar software that can open the PDF and change the color. You could Google that for your particular software.
Mary from Iowa says
Kay, thank you. I will have to investigate PSE

I had this punch and LOVE these. Have been looking for something similar for a long time, and tried my hand at it, but never accomplished anything this nice! Would love to have a sheet of the Father’s Day ones for my Sunday School class. If I have time, I’ll have to play with it! THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks so much for these. Got the punch today and they are really cute. I resized them in my graphics programme as straight from the pdf they were a bit small leaving a larger margin but just sized them to fit an A4 sheet and they are perfect! Have linked this post from my blog.

I also was disappointed to see not many digi stamps out there for my punches, I don’t have many punches but love to use them. I created some of my own inkscape templates for digi stamps for my punches. I don’t have a blog so I would be willing to email you the files if you want to share through your blog! Let me know, my email is submitted with this comment. I am also interested in creating or finding templates for the nestabilities, I have a guide for inkscape printing to size them correctly but only have the ovals and circles right now. Thanks again!
