Thanks for sharing. I would have thought the mesh would leave a sticky residue, but I don’t guess it does!

Great Idea. Is it just called Patches from ace hardware store?
Kaysays
“Ace Wall Repair Patches” or at Walmart Duck Brand Wall Repair Fabric both also say “Self Adhesive Fiberglass” (no metal)

Hi! I just watched the video using drywall tape and wondered if it works on vinyl for attaching words to walls? Thanks for the advice. I am new to Cricut (less than two weeks) and have the Expressions. Thanks and God Bless!

Some people use the mesh for vinyl, but there are plenty of other things that work better with vinyl. Try clear contact paper or masking tape if you don’t want to purchase commercial transfer tape for vinyl.

Hi! Thanks for answering me. But, do you mean regular masking tape? I have cut my first words to put on the wall and purchased Cricut’s transfer tape and ruined my first piece while trying to separate the two layers. Then my next problem is getting the letters in the right position. I am truly frustrated, to say the least. What do you personally prefer? Thanks so much for your advice!!! Blessings, Judy

Clear commercial transfer tape is perfect, but clear contact paper is nearly as good if you “rough it up” a little by sticking it to a clean t-shirt first. Might take a couple of tries, but once you get the hang of vinyl, you will love it. Good luck!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Kay! Don’t worry, I will not give up without a fight! Have a great week-end!
