I wondered if I could make a card centered around a silhouette not just of *a* couple, but of *the* couple the card was for. So for starters I yanked a photo of them (an unfortunately dark one) from Facebook and used the various selection tools in Photoshop to coax out an image I could trace in Silhouette Studio.
From there I combined the couple’s silhouette with a heart and cut from a square to be the centerpiece of a very simple, but very personalized card. I used laser foil to give the sentiment a shiny gold finish. I’m submitting this for the clean&simple blog’s sketch 214 challenge. Thanks for visiting!

What a beautiful and brilliant idea! This card is fantastic! I honest to goodness think your card will be forever remembered and kept for forever. Beautiful! Did I say this already?…..lol
Oh my gosh, Kay… I love this! Such a clever idea! If you ever do a tutorial for this, I’d be ever-so grateful! I may need to try it someday. ๐ I can see it used for baby cards, etc. Just wonderful!

Your card is just awesome! I’m sure the lucky couple will treasure it (and hopefully frame it). Sally

Just to let you know I used your pumpkin svg border on a card. I did give you credit for it on my blog.
I loved using it and hopefully you will do some more of those. It certainly is nice to have something to use all my colored pens with in the Cricut besides cuts. Although I do love svgs for cutting as well.
Thank you so much.
