    • Rosemary, there is no Inkscape with this technique. Inkscape is only mentioned because that is how the preference setting in SCAL is labeled.

  11. Nice job Kay. I think this looks a little easier that in MTC. Not sure why, because most of the time things are easier over there. It just seems more streamlined.

      Cut first, then stamp. I find it easier to leave it on the mat so you don’t have to worry about holding it down while stamping.

  20. I’ve been working on this technique for some time and needed a boost. You got my brain working again, so thanks.

    My scanner doesn’t allow resizing, but I figured out that it is scanning at 300dpi, so i can divide by 3.3333 and get my X component [I think, if my math is right!]

    Looks much truer to size now.

    I tried adjusting the dpi by resize in Infranview, but didn’t have luck with that. I wondered if there are programs (even that one) which allow dpi resizing after a scan?

    Very cool. Your brain works a lot like mine, though I never thought of myself as an engineer…that makes sense though, I’m a “process” person. That part excites my brain as much as the creating. Great to hook up on the SCAL forum and to revisit your site…been here many times.
