How would you like to fill a letter or state shape with a chevron pattern quickly and easily, and be able to adjust the size and position of the chevron and the thickness of the outline? Well, I’ve created a “smart template” for Silhouette Studio that will let you do just that! Download my new free “Chevronizer” file here and watch the video below to learn how to use it to easily add a fully adjustable chevron design to create cut files.
For those of you who like written instructions, you will find them in the margin of the file as shown in the screen shot below.
Download the free Stateface dingbat font here.

Kay, you’ve done it again! I love it!

Should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you. So sweet of you to share.
Have a good evening.

Will you be offering this file in svg formatt? Thanks for sharing your talents, Robin Dawkins [email protected]
I just went and played with this and so fun!! thanks so much for sharing and all you do for this community.
Thanks!
Love it. thanks so much for sharing with us. I don’t use my Silouhette enough and your videos always help me to understand how better to make use of Silouhette.
I downloaded the “chevronizer” . Silouhette studio opened and I thought that it would be there but I didn’t see it. I have finally downloaded the newest version and I also have designer edition but I couldn’t see it anywhere. Can you give me some help with this.
Hmmm. From within Silh Studio try file>open and see if that works for you.
Will give it a try and see what happens. I thought that it would be in my designs but no luck.
Rhandi, it will not go into your Silhouette Library unless you imported it. Usually it will go to your Downloads folder (on your hard drive, not in Silhouette Studio) first, so check there.
Oh, thank you so much for your time, expertise, and willingness to make this available to others. I am looking forward to playing with this.
Very interesting program. Can you use all patterns or just chevrons?
This particular template is set up for the chevron pattern, but you could easily drag and drop any pattern you like into the letter. Choose something that is crisp and black and white for best tracing.
This is AMAZING… thank you so much!
Wow! Thank you for sharing!!

Kay, thank you so much for this fabulous tool! Is there a way to export the svg cut file to use on a different cutter?
No, vectors can not be exported from Silh Studio but you can screen shot or virtual print and trace in another program.
Another great tool, thanks so much Kay for your willingness to share!!!
Kay, While I am not a font of the chevron pattern, this is totally cool and may change my likes!!!
